RollIQ is currently a solo, pre-launch project — not yet a registered company. This page describes how data is actually handled today, in plain language. It isn't a substitute for formal legal advice, and it will be replaced with a proper reviewed policy before any paid product or public data collection launches.

Who this is

RollIQ is built by one person (Simon). Questions about anything on this page, or about your own data, go straight to rolliq.ai@gmail.com.

What's collected today

Right now, before any product launch, this site collects:

Signup/feedback form data — name, email, and anything you write in an optional message field. Submitted through Formspree (a third-party form processor) and delivered directly to Simon's inbox.
Video footage — only from people who explicitly send footage for testing (e.g. through the early-access upload flow) or from training partners who agreed to appear in demo material. No video is collected passively through this site.
Account data — if you create a profile to send more than one roll, that's an email address (used to sign you in, nothing else) plus whatever you enter for display name/belt/gi preference. Stored with Supabase, the account/database provider behind profiles. See the terms page for what an account/upload specifically commits you to.

How it's used

Contacting you about early access, feature feedback, or specific footage you sent.
Improving the tracking/position models — if a video you sent is used for that, you'll be told, not left to guess.
Never sold, and never shared with anyone beyond the service providers needed to run this site (Formspree for forms, Cloudflare for hosting, Supabase for accounts/video storage).

Video of you or your training partners

A video frame containing an identifiable person is personal data. If you send footage that includes training partners, you're confirming you have their OK to share it. You can ask, at any time, to have a specific video removed — email the address above with enough detail to identify it (roughly when you sent it, filename, or what it shows) and it will be deleted.

Your rights

Ask what data is held about you.
Ask for it to be corrected or deleted.
Withdraw consent for a specific video or your email to be used, at any time.

All of the above: just email — that works whether or not you have an account. No form required.

Cookies / tracking

This site doesn't run analytics or advertising trackers. Only functional storage is used — e.g. remembering that you've already seen a popup, in your own browser's local storage.
