Terms for Sending Footage

Last updated 2026-09-08

Same situation as the privacy page: RollIQ is a solo, pre-launch project, not a registered company. This describes what you're actually agreeing to when you create an account and send a roll — plain language, not a wall of legal text. It'll be replaced with a proper reviewed policy before any paid product or public launch.

What you're confirming when you send a roll

  • The footage is yours to share — either you filmed it, or you have the OK from whoever did.
  • Everyone identifiable in it, training partners included, is OK with it being sent to Simon for analysis. If you're not sure, ask them first.
  • You're 18 or older, or a parent/guardian is submitting on behalf of someone who isn't. BJJ gyms run junior classes — this matters, so it's stated plainly rather than assumed.

What Simon can do with it

Process it through RollIQ's tracking/position pipeline, correct that output by hand, and show the result back to you on your own profile page. If a video helps improve the underlying models, it may be used for that too — same rule as the privacy page: you'll be told, not left to guess. None of it goes anywhere public — no demo reel, no marketing page, nothing shown to anyone else — without asking you first and getting a separate yes.

How review actually works today

Every video sent in is watched and corrected by Simon personally before anything is published back to you — there's no automated moderation standing in for that. That's also the real limit: review only scales as fast as one person can watch footage. If that ever changes, this page will say so.

Accounts and deletion

Creating an account gets you a profile page and the ability to send more than one roll without starting over each time. Everything from the privacy page still applies — ask what's held, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account and every video tied to it to be deleted, any time, just by emailing rolliq.ai@gmail.com.

Disputes

If something about how your footage was handled feels wrong, email first — a solo project's fastest fix is usually a direct reply, not a process.
